Book Club for Bears

What’s next?

We’ve officially selected The Happiness Project as our first selection for Book Club for Bears, so first things first, go buy the book!

Also, it’s worth noting that the Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project, will be in Pasadena tomorrow evening. Details are here:

Let’s plan on having our first meeting 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2010. I think that will give us plenty of time to get the book and read it.  I’ll volunteer to host the first meeting, and we can work out who’s next at that time.  The order of business will include:

• Brief discussion of the book.
• Consumption of food and alcohol (to be determined.)
• Possibly board games and hair braiding.

Let me know soon if you think you’ll have a conflict.

Last item for business: I’m planning to install commenting on the blog soon, so we can use this for communication instead of email.  I’m not sure how much people are actually interested in writing, but I can also set up logins for the blog so that everyone can have access.
